How to Do the Shoulder External Rotation Exercise

Krista Schultz, MEd, CSCS Demonstrates the Shoulder External Rotation Exercise

This exercise strengthens the external rotator muscles of the shoulder and is great for improving posture and decreasing shoulder and neck pain. The exercise helps balance shoulder muscular strength and stability which helps improve the shoulder joints ability to generate power. I recommend this exercise to swimmers, baseball players and most athletes in general.
