Welcome to the Strength & Flexibility Classroom!

Strength and flexibility are key elements of athletic performance.

Research has shown that 50% of triathletes will get injured in training each year prior to competition. Strengthening key muscles, improving flexibility with dynamic and stretching and facilitating recovery are all things that you can do to reduce risk of injury and improve performance.

In this classroom, we’ll explore strength and flexibility in the following lessons:

  1. Using a Foam Roller for Recovery – a foam roller is an excellent tool to enhance recovery.
  2. Dynamic Stretching Exercises – active warm up exercises that you can do before you exercise.
  3. How to Engage Your Core Muscles – a powerful core will help you maintain proper form and go the distance.
  4. Exercises to Improve Cycling Form – 4 exercises designed specifically to help you maintan proper form while cycling.
