“Things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.” — Johann Goethe
Simultaneously for three different endurance sports is a daunting task by itself, but throw in other responsibilities like a job, family, travel, social life, pets and friends, then triathlon training can become overwhelming, especially when training for IRONMAN 70.3® and IRONMAN Triathlon® events.
We are excited to introduce our new MINIMALIST training plans for IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 distance triathlons.
Designed for time-limited triathletes, the primary goal of our new minimalist training plans is to prepare you to be successful in your IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races…without doing extra training.
Beginning 10 to 24 weeks before your target race depending on which plan you choose, each plan progressively builds training volume and intensity prior to tapering for your race. Each week contains 2x swims, 2x bikes, 2x runs plus 1 BRICK run and option for strength training with one day off each week.
MINIMALIST training plans are currently available for IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon and IRONMAN 70.3 Triathlon.
Happy training,
David
